Research 
I particularly enjoy having students participate in research with me. My research interests include:
 linear algebra: combinatorial matrix analysis, sign patterns, inertia
 graph theory: decomposition problems, eigenvalue problems.
I also like to explore
the history and philosophy of mathematics.
